Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began at 14 years old. She was a kickboxer, boxer as well as wrestling, before making her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Aspen won the next match in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen made use of her wrestling prowess to beat McGill in the third round of a TKO.
