Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began at 14 years old. She was a kickboxer, boxer as well as wrestling, before making her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd took advantage of this win and began a 3 fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round of all fights. In WCFC Ladd fought, she defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen first defeated Silvia Babyghian, before heading to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9, where she faced Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and defeated her via an unanimous vote to remove a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd recovered from the defeat, and won Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record to 8-1. Aspen began her career in 2015, signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her to secure a first-round TKO. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. Aspen won the next match in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen made use of her wrestling prowess to beat McGill in the third round of a TKO. Aspen was then up against Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in a "catchweight"(138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd failed to make weight. Aspen, however, dominated Hoy through TKO. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut came at UFC Fight Night 118 when she faced Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina as she ground-and-pound pounded her for a TKO victory in the 2nd round. Her dominance continued and she scored a more impressive win in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd finished Evinger during the first round. She also received her a night's performance bonus. Her first fight of note came with her next bout at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd was the winner of the night's fight bonus, after both fighters had an intense combat. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to end Ladd and her streak. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya during the third round in UFC on ESPN 7. For a replacement last minute to her UFC bout, she fought Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. Her defeat was decided by unanimous verdict.
